Tenable background

In light of the approach of the information technology era and for the huge need of the information management professionals, the current purposes of our department lie in the economy development of the nations and cultivate the modern Information management professionals.  Apply creative information technology in the medicine health related realm in order to promote the level of healthy information science and technology in our country.

Education goal

The educational aim of our department is to cultivate professionals with profound and solid  theories and practical experiences in the information management which provide  innovations and applications in organization using information technology.  Our education focuses on all kind of theories, skills and practical training regarding of information and management.  We also train our students to possess abilities of discovering, analyzing and solving problems.

Evolution and scale

  • Established and enrolled two classes of the 2-year bachelor program in 1998.
  • Established and enrolled two classes of the 4-year bachelor program in 2000.
  • Ceased 2-year bachelor program.
    Enrolled three classes of the 4-year bachelor program.
    Established and enrolled two classes of the 4-year bachelor program for continuing education in 2001.
  • Established and enrolled one class of the 4-year bachelor program for continuing education in service.

Teacher survey

This department has two professors, seven associate professors, nine assistant professors and one lecturer. All teaching faculty are highly experienced and have great teaching enthusiasm. Rests all have a master degree. The specialty realm covers integration of manufacturing and commerce, management science, computer graph, virtual reality, decision support system, the software project management, network application, digital learning and multimedia, health information management etc. Our department also encourages  full-time faculty to work on various research projects and publish papers and thesis regarding theories and practical experiences.

Our department enrolls three classes of the 4-year bachelor program, one classes of the 4-year bachelor program in continuing education, one class of 4-year bachelor program in continuing education in service.
